As the daily quests reach resolution, we begin the various rituals of recharging the achy body and exhausted mind. Some may prioritize grub and grog, some pipe and pillow, some book and blanket. In these moments, we only owe a debt of servitude to ourselves.
This collection of audio tales is a homage to the part of our adventure when we finally get to prop our feet up, toss away the shackles of worldly responsibility, and take a moment to peruse our own agenda, whatever that may be.
Spoken as a gently whispered reminder to the self, that we are no good to anyone, if we’re not good to ourselves first.
The days are getting noticeably shorter and the breeze crispier, signaling the final harvests that will carry us through the cold, dark months.
May your harvests be bountiful, friends. And your pantries stacked as high as your firewood. May your fleece be as fuzzy as the cute critters who rest upon our laps. And may your final efforts for the day, be only those that deeply serves the self. Please remember, you truly deserve it.
